Full job description:
As a Credit Risk Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing and assessing the creditworthiness of corporate clients. Your work will help mitigate the bank’s credit risk exposure while ensuring the safe and efficient lending practices to businesses. You will utilize financial data and perform credit risk assessments to make data-driven decisions about credit approval and loan structuring.
What You Will Do:
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis and risk assessments for corporate loan applications.
- Prepare and review credit reports, including financial ratios, cash flow analysis, and collateral evaluations.
- Evaluate credit applications and provide recommendations to the credit committee.
- Monitor existing credit portfolios and assess any potential risks that may arise.
- Collaborate with relationship managers and clients to obtain the necessary financial information and facilitate risk assessments.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and internal policies regarding credit risk management.
Skills You Will Need:
- Advanced knowledge of financial statement analysis, financial modeling, and risk assessment techniques.
- Proficiency in financial software and spreadsheet applications (Excel, SAS, etc.).
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills for presenting findings and risk assessments.
- Detail-oriented with a strong understanding of credit risk management and mitigation strategies.
Who You Are:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in credit risk analysis or a similar role.
- Strong analytical and decision-making skills, with the ability to assess financial risk.
- Ability to work collaboratively with various departments and clients.
