We are seeking a skilled and dependable Building Maintenance Engineer to oversee the general maintenance and repair of building systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general building operations. You’ll play a key role in ensuring a safe, functional, and well-maintained environment for all building occupants.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine inspections and maintenance of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems
Respond promptly to maintenance requests and service calls
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and structural issues
Monitor building automation systems (BAS) for optimal performance
Conduct preventative maintenance and safety checks on building systems
Coordinate with contractors and vendors for specialized repairs or inspections
Maintain maintenance logs, service records, and equipment inventory
Ensure compliance with local building codes and safety regulations

Requirements:

High school diploma or GED; trade certification or associate’s degree preferred
3+ years of experience in building maintenance or facilities engineering
Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
Ability to read blueprints, technical manuals, and schematic drawings
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on ladders, rooftops, or confined spaces
Availability for occasional on-call or emergency repairs

Preferred Qualifications:

EPA Certification (for HVAC systems)
Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems)
OSHA safety training or certification
Experience in commercial, industrial, or residential facility maintenance
