Job Summary

Our Employee Benefits sales team is growing! This is your opportunity to accelerate your career as an Employee Benefits Sales Professional.
The territory includes the NY Metro and New Jersey, offering a strong mix of well-established relationships and exciting growth opportunities.

In this role, you will:

  • Serve as the key liaison between producers, customers, and The Standard.

  • Drive sales growth and build long-term success.

  • Manage a large, dynamic territory with a blend of mature accounts and new market potential.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage a large, dynamic territory, including both established producers and significant growth prospects.

  • Serve as the primary connection between producers, customers, and The Standard to achieve sales targets and drive personal success.

  • Leverage a full suite of company resources to meet and exceed quotas, including local service teams, home office support, marketing resources, peer collaboration, and management expertise.

  • Continuously improve product knowledge, sales skills, and competitive market intelligence through both formal training and self-driven development.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and long-term growth.


Requirements

  • Location: Must reside in the Manhattan area.

  • Travel: Must be able to travel within the territory 1-2 days per week.

  • Office Presence: Must be willing to attend in-office meetings in Manhattan occasionally.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Licensing: Life & Health license required (or must be obtained upon hire).

  • Experience: 1.5 to 5 years of employee benefits sales experience.

  • Driving: Must have a valid driver’s license, excellent driving record, and be insurable under corporate insurance policies.

Compensation

  • Total Compensation Range: $75,000 – $150,000+ (includes base salary, commissions, and potential bonuses).

  • Incentive Program: Eligibility is based on individual and organizational performance and is governed by company policies.


Additional Information

  • Positions will remain posted for a minimum of 5 days from the original posting date.

  • This is a hybrid role with required travel and occasional in-office presence. Remote-only work is not available.
