Job Summary

Amiri Flight is seeking a highly qualified Flight Security Officer with a specialization in Security Training and Risk/Threat Analysis. This role is critical to ensuring the safety and operational readiness of our aviation activities. The successful candidate will be responsible for continuous global monitoring, risk assessments, training delivery, and ensuring compliance with security standards across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

Continuously monitor global political and security developments to assess potential risks to flight operations.
Identify locations requiring enhanced security measures and make tailored recommendations.
Prepare location-specific briefing reports and threat assessments for relevant stakeholders.
Compile and distribute detailed intelligence reports on security, political instability, and terrorism threats worldwide.
Evaluate the effectiveness of current mitigation measures and recommend improvements.
Conduct security audits and surveys at engineering sites, airports, crew quarters, and hotel accommodations both domestically and internationally.
Analyze training and development needs within the Security Department and among Flying Crew.
Propose and implement cost-effective solutions to address training deficiencies.
Maintain training databases and complete training records for all security personnel.
Design, update, and deliver security training programs based on operational and individual requirements.
Deliver general security induction sessions for new personnel.
Review and contribute to the development of policies, procedures, and manuals for the Security Department.
Collaborate with Security Management to tailor training programs relevant to evolving threats and operational needs.

Qualifications & Experience

Post-secondary education.
Background in Military or Police service.
3–5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in aviation security or threat analysis.
Flight planning experience is a strong advantage.
Certified AVSEC Trainer or similar relevant qualification.
General security training credentials are essential.
