Job Summary

The Sales Executive – Leisure is responsible for generating and maintaining leisure business for Raffles & Fairmont Doha. This includes building strong relationships with travel agencies, tour operators, and luxury travel planners. The role requires proactive sales efforts, account management, and delivering exceptional service while achieving revenue targets.


Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key leisure accounts, including travel agencies and tour operators.

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities to increase leisure segment revenue.

  • Conduct regular sales calls, client meetings, site inspections, and presentations.

  • Negotiate and secure contracts with leisure partners.

  • Maintain a strong sales pipeline and work consistently to meet sales goals.

Account & Relationship Management

  • Act as the primary contact for leisure clients, ensuring excellent service and communication.

  • Update and manage client databases for performance tracking and reporting.

  • Collaborate with marketing teams to create attractive leisure promotions and packages.

  • Represent the hotel at trade shows, events, and industry networking functions.

Operational Excellence

  • Coordinate with Reservations, Revenue Management, and Front Office to ensure smooth booking processes.

  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to inform strategy.

  • Prepare sales reports and forecasts to support decision-making.

  • Ensure all activities comply with company policies and brand standards.


Qualifications & Experience

  • 2–3 years of experience in a sales role, preferably within the luxury hospitality sector.

  • Strong understanding of the leisure market in Qatar and the GCC region.

  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales targets.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and hotel CRM systems (such as Opera, Delphi, or Salesforce).

  • Fluent in English; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage.
