About the Role
CAP Government, Inc., a Bureau Veritas company, is seeking a Project Manager to oversee the planning, design, and construction of diverse municipal and educational projects. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of relevant experience and possess the ability to lead projects from inception to completion with strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage small to intermediate projects throughout the lifecycle: scope, schedule, resources, budget, and quality.

Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and translate them into actionable plans.

Prepare and maintain project schedules, resource plans, and status reports.

Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements including local/state building codes and safety regulations.

Supervise construction progress and provide regular reports and updates.

Coordinate with structural, hydraulic, traffic, utility, and other design disciplines.

Mentor and evaluate project staff and support long-range planning with senior management.

Review and develop complex layouts, technical documents, and estimates.

Participate in proposal development, labor estimation, and client presentations.

Maintain strong relationships with clients and ensure high-quality service delivery.

Represent the company at meetings, presentations, and conferences.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Building Construction, Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction project management, including inspection and administration of mixed-use developments.

Strong ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.

Familiarity with municipal agency processes and requirements.

Professional certifications are a plus:

Florida Professional Engineer (PE) License

Florida Registered Architect License

Florida Building Official License
