Job Responsibility:

  • Retail store replenishment, inventory counting and operational tasks within set KPIs
  • Replenishment and internal transportation of stock within the warehouse and store while safely utilising material handling equipment and tools
  • Ensuring IKEA Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), rules, and guidelines are followed throughout the process to ensure the safety of both customers and co-workers
  • Frequent lifting and use of manual handling equipment such as pallet jacks, while working safely alongside forklift operations
  • Actively contributing to the highest possible stock availability by ensuring accurate replenishment, location management, inventory counting, and taking responsibility to follow up discrepancies to ensure our customers always have the right information
  • Picking, checking, and preparing customer orders for delivery or collection, and operational tasks within set KPIs
  • Accurately using IKEA systems to manage workflow
  • Handing out click and collect orders to customers with a friendly approach
  • Actively contributing to the highest possible stock availability by ensuring accurate picking, checking, and return flow, and taking responsibility to follow up discrepancies to ensure our customers always have the right information

Requirements:

  • A passion for fulfilment operations and experience working in a warehouse or retail store replenishment environment with frequent manual handling
  • For the outbound roles a current forklift license is highly valued
  • A ‘Togetherness’ mindset where you’ll work collaboratively with your team and other departments to secure the best possible outcome for customers
  • A clear communicator with a high level of autonomy and accuracy so you can work effectively independently
  • Ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment to meet KPIs, while always working safely
  • Ability to learn and use internal IT systems to manage workflow
  • A priority on safe work practices and being comfortable with physical work and manual handling, including frequent lifting and walking
