About the Role

We’re looking for a talented and experienced Full Stack WordPress Developer (Freelance) to join our growing team on a remote, task-based basis. You’ll play a key role in building and optimizing custom WordPress websites that serve thousands of job seekers and employers globally.

This is a great opportunity to work in a fast-moving environment with full autonomy and long-term collaboration potential. Each task or feature will be clearly defined, and payment will be made upon successful completion of each assigned task or milestone.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain custom WordPress themes and plugins

  • Work with ACF (Advanced Custom Fields), Custom Post Types, and taxonomies

  • Build fully responsive layouts with HTML5, CSS3 (Tailwind/Bootstrap), and JavaScript

  • Write clean PHP code and manage database interactions with MySQL

  • Integrate third-party APIs (REST, GraphQL, Stripe, Mailchimp, etc.)

  • Optimize website performance, responsiveness, and SEO

  • Debug and fix issues across both front-end and back-end

  • Collaborate with designers and project managers via tools like Slack, Git, and Trello

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3+ years of hands-on WordPress development

  • Proficiency in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS

  • Solid experience with WordPress REST API and custom plugin development

  • Familiarity with Git and deployment workflows

  • Ability to build from Figma or Adobe XD designs

  • Strong problem-solving, debugging, and optimization skills

  • Fluent in written and spoken English

Nice to Have

  • WooCommerce experience

  • Experience with React, Vue.js, or Alpine.js

  • Familiarity with headless WordPress, JAMstack, or static site generators

  • Experience with Bricks, Elementor, or Oxygen builder

  • Knowledge of SEO and Core Web Vitals optimization
