Job Summary
As a Software Sales Account Manager, you will manage the complete sales lifecycle of iHorizons’ software products and IT services—prospecting, closing, and nurturing both new and existing accounts. You will play a strategic role in expanding market presence, driving revenue growth, and cultivating long-term client relationships.
Reporting Structure
Reports to the Sales Manager.
Key Objectives

Generate leads, convert them into opportunities, and close deals.

Sell complex enterprise solutions to large organizations.

Achieve revenue targets and contribute to business expansion through upselling and cross-selling.
Key Responsibilities
1. Full Sales Lifecycle Ownership

Hunt for new business via cold calling, networking, and relationship-building.

Act as a trusted technology advisor to clients.

Align client needs with iHorizons solutions and services.
-
Lead the bidding process, manage proposals, and drive deal closure.

Collaborate with Sales Manager and bid teams on large deals.
2. Revenue Generation

Achieve or exceed revenue targets by onboarding new clients and upselling to existing ones.

Ensure all deals meet minimum gross margin requirements.
3. Account Management

Serve as the primary point of contact for clients.

Track client business dynamics and market trends.
-
Support clients throughout the sales, implementation, and after-sales cycles.

Maintain satisfaction and proactively resolve issues.
4. Upselling and Cross-Selling

Develop and maintain account development plans.
-
Identify new revenue streams within existing accounts.
-
Promote new iHorizons services and technologies.
5. Sales Administration

Assist Sales Operations in contract renewals, invoicing, and documentation.

Ensure proper client file maintenance, including contracts and communications.

Follow up on collections and payments.
6. CRM and Reporting

Maintain up-to-date activity logs and forecasts using iHorizons’ CRM.

Provide sales insights and reports to management as needed.
7. Client Engagement & Representation

Regularly visit key clients to strengthen relationships.

Represent iHorizons in trade shows and tech events.

Build relationships with senior decision-makers (CIOs, IT Directors, etc.)

Coordinate with the marketing team on lead generation and promotions.
Qualifications
Education
-
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field.
-
Ongoing education in Sales or IT is a plus.
Experience
-
Minimum 5 years of sales experience, with 1–2 years in a similar role.

Experience in enterprise IT solution sales is mandatory.
-
Experience in digital transformation solutions is highly preferred.
-
Experience in the Qatari or Middle East market is a strong advantage.

CRM software experience is desirable.
