Job Description

We are currently looking for an experienced Information Security Manager to join our team in Qatar. This position requires strong technical expertise in information security, particularly within enterprise environments such as banking, large corporates, or managed security service providers (MSSPs).

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all aspects of information security strategy and operations.

  • Ensure security compliance with international standards and best practices.

  • Analyze and respond to complex cybersecurity threats in a timely and effective manner.

  • Manage and monitor security infrastructure, policies, and procedures.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to implement security solutions.

  • Support SOC (Security Operations Center) functions, especially at Level 3.

  • Provide risk assessment, vulnerability management, and mitigation guidance.

  • Prepare and present reports to senior management regarding security posture and incidents.

Required Qualifications

Education & Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.

  • Mandatory certifications (any of the following):

    • CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker)

    • CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional)

    • CISM (Certified Information Security Manager)

    • CISA (Certified Information Systems Auditor)

    • CySA+ (Cybersecurity Analyst+)

  • Preferred/Additional certifications:

    • SIEM tools (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, ArcSight)

    • Vendor certifications in network, application, or systems security

Experience

  • Minimum 6 years of experience in cybersecurity, ideally within:

    • A major bank

    • Large corporate enterprise

    • Managed Security Services Provider (MSSP)

  • Previous experience in a Level 3 SOC Analyst or higher security operations role is essential.

  • Joining timeframe: Within 2 to 4 weeks maximum.

  • Only candidates who can meet the specified joining timeframe will be considered.
