Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and serve a variety of German and international beverages including draught beer, schnapps, cocktails, and non-alcoholic drinks.

  • Deliver an energetic and engaging atmosphere inspired by Oktoberfest traditions.

  • Educate guests on different beer types, flavor profiles, and regional specialties.

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar in accordance with hygiene and HACCP standards.

  • Collaborate with the Beverage Manager to develop seasonal and themed drink promotions.

  • Interact with guests in both German and English, ensuring a warm and culturally authentic experience.

  • Support special events such as beer tastings and high-volume service occasions.

  • Monitor alcohol service and guest consumption responsibly.

  • Manage cash, POS transactions, and inventory accurately.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years’ bartending experience, preferably in a beer garden, beer hall, or busy hospitality venue.

  • Strong understanding of German beer styles (Pils, Weissbier, Dunkel, Bock, etc.) and spirits.

  • Prior experience with Oktoberfest-style service or Bavarian-themed environments is a strong plus.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a flair for storytelling and guest engagement.

  • Bartending certification or formal mixology training is preferred.
