We are excited to offer an opportunity for highly motivated students to join our 2025 Summer Internship Program in the field of Information Security. As an intern, you will gain hands-on experience in the world of cybersecurity, working alongside our technology team to support the development, implementation, and maintenance of security policies and procedures to protect our organization’s data and systems. This internship will provide valuable insights into the ever-evolving field of information security and allow you to contribute to important projects while learning from industry experts.

Responsibilities:

Assist in the analysis and identification of security vulnerabilities within the organization’s IT systems, applications, and infrastructure.
Support the implementation of security controls and processes to mitigate security risks.
Participate in the development and testing of security measures to ensure compliance with internal and external standards and regulations.
Help monitor and respond to security incidents and breaches, assisting with investigations and reporting.
Work with the team to perform regular security audits and assessments on systems, networks, and applications.
Assist in the maintenance and optimization of security tools, technologies, and platforms used across the organization.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to raise awareness of security best practices and support secure development processes.
Contribute to creating documentation and reports related to information security policies, procedures, and incidents.

Qualifications:

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Strong interest in information security and cybersecurity topics.
Familiarity with security protocols, practices, and standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, etc.).
Basic understanding of networking concepts, firewalls, encryption, and vulnerability management.
Knowledge of common operating systems (Windows, Linux) and software platforms.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
A proactive and self-motivated attitude with a desire to learn and grow within the field of information security.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with security tools (e.g., SIEM, firewalls, intrusion detection systems).
Familiarity with scripting or programming languages (e.g., Python, Bash, PowerShell).
Knowledge of cloud security practices and platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
Basic understanding of penetration testing or ethical hacking techniques.

Program Details:

Duration: 10-12 weeks during the summer of 2025.
Full-time, paid internship.
Work remotely or on-site, depending on location and availability.
