Corporate Director of Accounting & FinanceAs the Corporate Director of Accounting & Finance, you will report to the Chief Financial Officer and oversee all aspects of the company’s financial health. This includes managing the accounting team, ensuring regulatory compliance, preparing budgets and forecasts, and enhancing internal controls.

What will you do?

Financial Leadership:

  • Lead and mentor the accounting and finance team to enhance their strengths and abilities.
  • Develop budgets and forecasts for hospitality, HOA, and real estate operations.
  • Conduct variance analysis and identify opportunities for financial improvement.
  • Provide strategic financial recommendations to the CFO.

Financial Reporting & Compliance:

  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements.
  • Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
  • Oversee cash flow for multiple entities to ensure efficient financial resource utilization.

Accounting Operations:

  • Supervise daily accounting activities, including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
  • Maintain and enhance internal control policies to protect company assets.
  • Conduct internal audits and support year-end consolidated financial and tax reporting.

Financial Analysis & Risk Management:

  • Perform financial modeling and risk assessments to guide investment and business initiatives.
  • Monitor financial performance, identify trends, and recommend corrective actions.

Stakeholder Communication:

  • Collaborate with department heads to align financial strategies with business objectives.
  • Present financial insights to the executive team, board of directors, and other stakeholders.

What are we looking for?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA, CMA, or MBA preferred).
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in hospitality accounting and finance, preferably in multi-company operations.
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to build and develop high-performing teams.
  • Expertise in financial analysis, forecasting, and creating complex financial reports.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience in lender and banking relationships.
  • Excellent communication and decision-making skills.
